Text Toolkit

Compare Two Lists

Find common items, differences and unique values in two lists. Compare locally without uploading your data.

Blank lines are ignored. Results contain unique items in input order, using the first spelling found. Case-insensitive matching uses Unicode lowercase conversion.

Find differences between two lists

Paste one value per line in each input and compare. If A contains apple, banana and pear, and B contains banana and orange, the common result is banana. Only A contains apple and pear; only B contains orange. Use this for inventories, URL lists or exported labels.

How is this different from Text Compare?

Text Compare highlights edits between documents. This tool compares membership regardless of line order and removes repeated entries. Disable trimming when surrounding spaces are meaningful; enable Ignore case when Apple and apple should count as the same item.
