CSV to JSON & JSON to CSV Converter

Convert CSV or spreadsheet rows to JSON and flat JSON objects to CSV privately in your browser.

The first CSV row contains unique, non-empty column names. Values stay strings, preserving leading zeros and long IDs. JSON input must be an array of flat objects.

Convert spreadsheet data without losing identifiers

Paste a header row followed by records, select the matching delimiter, then convert. For example, id,name followed by 00123,Ava becomes an object with the string id “00123”. Quoted commas, escaped quotation marks and multiline values are supported. To convert an Excel selection, choose Tab.

Which JSON structures can I convert?

Use an array such as [{"name":"Ava","id":"00123"}]. Columns are the union of object keys. Missing and null values become empty cells. Nested objects and arrays are rejected instead of being silently flattened. Spreadsheet formulas are exported as text with a leading apostrophe for safer opening; CSV-to-JSON preserves original text.
