How to preview a search snippet
Enter your proposed page title, a display URL and a description. Switch the width to review the layout, then revise text that is clipped. For example, compare “Home” with “CSV to JSON Converter — Free & Private”. A descriptive title communicates the task before someone clicks.
Does a preview predict rankings?
No. Character counts and visual clipping help you edit a snippet, but do not measure relevance, indexing or ranking. There is no universal character count that guarantees Google will display the entire title.
